Submission #678

Vancouver has been a renowned multicultural city for many years now, yet there hasn't been any artwork that represents the diversity of different religions, abilities, sexual orientations, ethnicities and cultural groups from all over the world and Canada's Aboriginal communities. In my artwork, I wanted to represent the diversity of Vancouver by using different colours and slightly different patterns of fish (representing different beliefs and cultures) around the outer circle, yet forming a harmony in the centre represented by colours, yellow and orange in a conformed pattern. The roundness of circles represent the water which goes well with the sewer project in the city of Vancouver.
