For this design, I've incorporated the natural elements that can be found in Vancouver throughout the seasons. The cherry blossoms represent spring. The Chinook salmon represent summer. The leaves represent autumn. The evergreen ferns represent winter. In the center, the circles represent ripples from raindrops as our city is known "rain city"; the ripples of raindrops also remind passer-by that the rain water will be releasing back to waterbody/nature, hence, do not release any chemicals in the storm sewers, as the rain water will not get treated. Through this design, I hope to bring more environmental awareness to all Vancouverite.
